AVEENO® finely-milled, naturally active oats are sourced from non-GMO oat grown in Canada, US and France. The manufacturing process of colloidal oatmeal does not utilise chemical solvents and has high standards of quality assurance.
The oat essence- Avenanthramides- are chemical compounds isolated directly from oats through a careful extraction process and has the most anti-irritant properties of all oat extracts.
The oat oil is a separate component produced from oats through an environmentally friendly extraction process.
Properties of Naturally Active Oat
- Moisturises: Oat proteins leave a protective barrier on the skin, which is important for people suffering from dry skin, as a protective barrier will prevent water loss in the skin and help maintain moisture.

Soy has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years for health and nutritional benefits. AVEENO® brand source soybeans from non-GMO seeds cultivated in the US and we have been granted several patents for the composition of the Total Soy extracts, for the processing methods of the whole soybean, for their stability as well as for specific methods of use. Soybeans are processed in minimal and controlled heating to preserve the total original composition of the soybean and the activity of the natural soybeans small proteins.

Feverfew has been used for thousands of years and in folklore medicine as an herbal treatment. AVEENO sources feverfew from non-GMO plants in the US in pesticide free fields by professional agricultural farmers who use environmentally friendly weed & insect control methods. Feverfew is harvested in a 3-day period and processed within an hour of harvesting to maximize concentration of actives. Manufacturing is temperature controlled and there is a patented process of centrifugation ensures high yield extracts.
