Top tips for taking care of your baby’s dry, eczema-prone skin:

  • Apply emollient every day, as often as required, ideally after a bath or shower.
  • It’s important to establish a regular bathing and moisturising routine.
  • Use 250/500g of emollient per week (child/adult)
  • Apply it all over the body using down-stroke motions and you do not rub.
  • Use products that are fragrance-free, non-greasy, fast absorbing and easy to apply
  • Avoid triggers such as wool, heat, perfumes, hairy pets, swimming pool etc., that can irritate dry, eczema-prone skin
